TLV75718PDBVR Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The Texas Instruments TLV75718PDBVR is a high-accuracy, low-quiescent current, 1-A low-dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulator. It is designed for applications requiring good line and load transient performance.

This LDO regulator supports an input voltage range of 1.45V to 5.5V and provides a fixed output voltage of 1.8V. Key electrical specifications include a low quiescent current of 25µA typical, a maximum dropout voltage of 425mV at 1A (for 3.3VOUT), and an output accuracy of 1% maximum. It also features high PSRR of 45dB at 100kHz and is stable with a 1µF ceramic output capacitor.

For enhanced performance and protection, the TLV75718PDBVR includes built-in soft-start for monotonic VOUT rise, foldback current limit, and thermal shutdown. An enable function allows for low standby power consumption, and active output discharge quickly discharges the output when shutdown.

The device is supplied in a 2.9mm x 2.8mm SOT-23-5 package, suitable for space-constrained designs. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 125°C.
