The TLV5639IDW from Texas Instruments is a 12-bit, single-channel, voltage-output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) designed for a wide range of supply voltages from 2.7V to 5.5V. It features a microprocessor-compatible parallel interface, programmed with a 16-bit data word. The device includes a programmable internal precision voltage reference and offers programmable settling time versus power consumption, with options for 1 µs in fast mode and 3.5 µs in slow mode.
The output voltage is buffered by a x2 gain rail-to-rail output buffer, enhancing stability and reducing settling time. The DAC's ability to source up to 1 mA allows its internal reference to be used as a system reference. The TLV5639IDW is implemented using a CMOS process and is suitable for applications such as digital servo control loops, digital offset and gain adjustment, industrial process control, machine and motion control devices, and mass storage devices.
This component is housed in a 20-SOIC package with surface mount mounting type. It operates within an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The package quantity is 25 pieces per tube.
