The Texas Instruments TLV5626CDR is a dual 8-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) designed for voltage output applications. It features a flexible 3-wire serial interface that allows for glueless connection to TMS320, SPI, QSPI, and Microwire serial ports. The device operates over a voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V and offers a programmable internal reference and programmable settling time.
The TLV5626CDR has a resolution of 8 bits and provides two output channels. Its architecture is based on a string DAC, with a typical settling time of 5.5µs. The typical integral nonlinearity (INL) is ±0.1 LSB, with a maximum of ±0.4 LSB. The DAC output is buffered by a x2 gain rail-to-rail output buffer, which includes a Class AB output stage to enhance stability and reduce settling time.
This DAC is suitable for applications such as digital servo control loops, digital offset and gain adjustment, industrial process control, machine and motion control devices, and mass storage devices. It is supplied in an 8-SOIC package and is designed for surface mount applications. The operating temperature range is from 0°C to 70°C.
