The Toshiba TLP155E is a photocoupler designed for applications such as Plasma Display Panels (PDP) and industrial inverters. It integrates an infrared emitting diode (IRED) with a high-speed photodetector, making it suitable for direct gate driving circuits for IGBTs or power MOSFETs.

This device features a buffer logic type with a totem pole output and is housed in a 6-SO package. Key electrical specifications include a peak output current of ±0.6 A (max), a threshold input current of 7.5 mA (max), and a propagation delay time of 200 ns (max). It provides a common-mode transient immunity of ±15 kV/μs (min) and an isolation voltage of 3750 Vrms (min).
