TLK1521IPAP

The Texas Instruments TLK1521IPAP is a high-performance serializer/deserializer designed for data communication applications. It supports data rates from 0.5 to 1.3 Gigabits Per Second (Gbps) and operates from a 2.5-V power supply, enabling low power consumption.

This device features selectable signal preemphasis for the serial output and interfaces to backplanes, copper cables, or optical converters. It includes lock indication and sync mode for fast initialization, along with 18-bit parallel busses for flexible interface applications. The on-chip PLL provides clock synthesis from a low-speed reference, and receiver differential input thresholds are a minimum of 200 mV.

The TLK1521IPAP is rated for industrial temperature ranges and is ideal for high-speed backplane interconnect and point-to-point data link applications. It comes in a 64-pin HTQFP thermally enhanced package (PowerPAD).
