TLK1201RCP

The Texas Instruments TLK1201RCP is a high-speed, full-duplex, point-to-point Ethernet transceiver designed for data transmissions.

This device supports data rates ranging from 0.6 Gbps to 1.3 Gbps, making it suitable for demanding networking applications. It features a low power consumption of less than 200 mW at 1.25 Gbps and operates with a nominal supply voltage of 2.5V, with 3.3V tolerance on LVTTL inputs. The transceiver is compliant with IEEE 802.3 Gigabit Ethernet and ANSI X3.230-1994 (FC-PH) Fibre Channel standards.

Built using advanced 0.25-µm CMOS technology, the TLK1201RCP includes a single monolithic PLL design and requires no external filter capacitors. It offers LVPECL compatible differential I/O on its high-speed interface and supports 10-bit or 5-bit DDR clocking. Receiver differential input thresholds are a minimum of 200 mV.

The TLK1201RCP is available in a 64-pin VQFP package with a thermally enhanced PowerPAD, specifically a 64-PowerVFQFP. It is designed for surface mount applications and operates across an industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, ensuring reliability in various environments. The device also includes a comprehensive suite of built-in testability features and IEEE 1149.1 JTAG support.
