TLIN2029ADRBRQ1

The TLIN2029ADRBRQ1 is a fault-protected Local Interconnect Network (LIN) transceiver manufactured by Texas Instruments. This device is qualified for automotive applications and complies with LIN 2.0, LIN 2.1, LIN 2.2, LIN 2.2 A, and ISO/DIS 17987–4 electrical physical layer specifications. It also conforms to the SAE J2602-1 LIN network for vehicle applications.

Key electrical characteristics include a wide operational supply voltage range from 4V to 48V, with LIN transmit data rates up to 20kbps and LIN receive data rates up to 100kbps. The transceiver features ±60V LIN bus fault tolerance, under-voltage protection on VSUP, TXD dominant timeout protection (DTO), and thermal shutdown protection. It also offers failsafe operation for unpowered nodes or ground disconnection at the system level.

The TLIN2029ADRBRQ1 is available in an 8-SON (3x3) package with wettable flanks, suitable for surface mount applications. Its design supports 12V and 24V systems and includes a sleep mode with ultra-low current consumption, allowing wake-up events from the LIN bus or local wake-up through the EN pin. Power up and down operations are glitch-free on the LIN bus and RXD output.
