The TLIN2022DRQ1 from Texas Instruments is a fault-protected dual Local Interconnect Network (LIN) physical layer transceiver. It is compliant with LIN 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.2A, and ISO/DIS 17987–4.2 standards, and conforms to SAEJ2602.
This transceiver supports automotive applications with AEC-Q100 qualification and an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. It features a wide supply voltage range of 4V to 45V and provides ±60V LIN bus fault protection. Key protection features include undervoltage protection on VSUP, TXD Dominant Timeout Protection (DTO), and thermal shutdown protection.
The TLIN2022DRQ1 offers integrated wake-up capabilities from the LIN bus or a local wake-up signal through the EN pin. It supports 24V battery applications and operates at LIN transmit data rates up to 20kbps. The device is available in a 14-SOIC package and is suitable for surface mount applications.
