This transceiver features a wide input operational voltage range from 4.5V to 36V, making it suitable for 12V automotive systems. It supports LIN transmit data rates up to 20 kbps and LIN receive data rates up to 100 kbps. The device offers multiple operating modes including Normal, Low-power standby, and Low-power sleep modes, with wake-up support via the LIN bus, WAKE pin, or EN pin.

 

Protection features include ±45V LIN bus fault tolerance, 42V load dump support, IEC ESD protection, undervoltage protection, TXD dominant state time-out, and thermal shutdown. It is available in an 8-SOIC package and is AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.

 

The TLIN1021DRQ1 includes an integrated 45kΩ LIN pull-up resistor and provides control of system-level power using the INH pin. It ensures power-up/down glitch-free operation on the LIN bus and RXD output.
