TLE9844-2QX

The Infineon MOTIX™ TLE9844-2QX is a microcontroller unit (MCU) specifically designed for automotive applications, offering a blend of processing power and integrated peripheral functions. It is built around a 32-bit Arm Cortex-M0 core capable of operating at clock frequencies up to 40 MHz. The device provides 64 KB of flash memory for program storage and 4 KB of RAM for data handling.

Key features include an integrated LIN transceiver, enabling communication over LIN bus networks, and power switches comprising 2 high-side and 2 low-side switches with PWM capability. This configuration makes it suitable for controlling various automotive functions. The MCU supports a wide power supply range from 3.0 V to 28 V and includes an integrated 5 V voltage supply for external components like Hall sensors.

For monitoring and supervision, the TLE9844-2QX is equipped with multiple ADC channels: an 8-bit ADC with 7 channels for voltage and temperature, and a 10-bit ADC with 13 channels, including analog inputs, HV MON inputs, and battery sense capabilities. On-chip temperature and battery voltage measurement are also integrated. The device is qualified for automotive applications according to AEC-Q100 standards and comes in a VQFN-48 package.
