The Infineon TLE9255WSK is a high-speed CAN transceiver designed for automotive and industrial applications. It fully complies with ISO 11898-2 (2016) and supports standard HS CAN data rates up to 1Mbit/s, as well as CAN FD data rates up to 5Mbit/s.

 

This transceiver provides a very low level of electromagnetic emission, allowing operation without a common mode choke. It features excellent ESD robustness of ±10 kV according to IEC 61000-4-2 and includes fail-safe features such as TxD timeout and overtemperature shutdown. The device supports partial networking functions and CAN FD tolerant features, enabling the use of microcontrollers not capable of CAN FD.

 

The TLE9255WSK is available in PG-DSO-14 or PG-TSON-14 packages. It is qualified for automotive applications according to AEC-Q100 and is RoHS compliant.
