The Infineon TLE7368-2E is a high-efficiency, next-generation microcontroller power supply system designed for automotive applications using a standard 12V battery. It features a wide battery input voltage range from 4.5V up to 45V and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +150°C.
This device integrates a current-mode Buck converter providing a pre-regulated 5.5V at 2.5A. Post-regulators include LDO1 (5V, 800mA), LDO2 (3.3V or 2.6V, 700mA), and LDO3 control for an external NPN power stage, offering specific voltages like 1.2V for the TLE7368-2E variant. It also includes tracking regulators and a low-current stand-by regulator with selectable outputs of 1.0V or 2.6V.
Protection features include overcurrent protection on all regulators, overtemperature shutdown, and undervoltage detection with adjustable reset delay. The TLE7368-2E is supplied in a small exposed pad PG-DSO-36 package, suitable for surface mounting.
