The Infineon Technologies TLE6251DS is a High Speed CAN Transceiver with a data transmission rate of up to 1 MBaud, compliant to ISO 11898-5. This transceiver is optimized for low electromagnetic emission (EME) and high immunity against electromagnetic interference (EMI), making it suitable for automotive applications.

 

Key features include very low power consumption in Sleep mode, bus wake-up and local wake-up capabilities, and split termination for stabilizing the recessive level. It also provides a separate VIO input for adapting different microcontroller supply voltages and a separate output for failure diagnosis. The device offers very high ESD robustness (±9 kV according to IEC 61000-4-2) and is protected against automotive transients.

 

Packaged in an 8-SOIC (0.154", 3.90mm Width) surface mount package, the TLE6251DS operates within a voltage range of 4.75V to 5.25V and has an operating temperature range of -40°C to 150°C. It is qualified for automotive applications according to AEC-Q100.
