The Infineon TLE4263G is a 5V low drop fixed voltage regulator, part of the OPTIREG™ Linear family. It is designed for general automotive applications and is qualified according to AEC-Q100/101 standards.
This IC regulates an input voltage between 6V and 45V to a stable 5.0V output with a tolerance of up to ±2%. It can supply up to 200mA of output current. Key features include overtemperature protection, reverse polarity protection, and short-circuit proof operation. It also incorporates adjustable reset threshold and a watchdog function for supervising microcontrollers.
The TLE4263G is available in SMD packages such as PG-DSO-8, PG-DSO-14, and PG-DSO-20. Its low standby current consumption, dropping to typical 0µA when the inhibit input is active, makes it suitable for power-sensitive applications. The wide temperature range further enhances its suitability for demanding automotive environments.
The output voltage is 5V nominal with a tolerance of ±2%.
The TLE4263G is available in a PG-DSO-20 surface mount package.
The maximum output current is 200 mA.
The input voltage range is 6V minimum to 45V maximum.
The standby current is 0 µA when the inhibit input is active.
The operating current is 900 µA typical when the inhibit input is inactive.
The reset threshold is 4.5V maximum, and can be decreased to 3.5V by an external voltage divider.
