The Infineon TLE4250-2G is a monolithic integrated low dropout voltage tracker, part of the OPTIREG™ linear family. It is designed for general automotive applications, specifically for supplying off-board loads such as sensors.
This regulator features a 50 mA output current capability and a wide input voltage range from -42 V to +45 V. It provides protection against overload, overtemperature, reverse polarity, and output short circuits to ground and supply. The device operates reliably within a temperature range of -40°C to 150°C.
The TLE4250-2G is housed in a tiny PG-SCT595-5 SMD package, offering excellent thermal resistance. It is stable with small ceramic output capacitors and includes a combined reference/enable input for switching to a low current stand-by mode.
