The TLC7701QD from Texas Instruments is a micropower supply voltage supervisor designed for microcomputer and microprocessor systems. It provides essential reset control functions, including power-on reset generation and automatic reset generation after a voltage drop.
This device features a precision voltage sensor and a temperature-compensated voltage reference. The supply voltage range is from 2V to 6V, with a defined RESET output available when VDD is greater than or equal to 1V. The reset timeout is a minimum of 1.1ms, and the output type is Push-Pull, Totem Pole. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 125°C (TA).
The TLC7701QD is housed in an 8-SOIC package, suitable for surface mount applications. It monitors a single voltage and offers active high/active low reset functionality. The maximum supply current is a low 16 µA, making it suitable for power-sensitive applications.
This supervisor is also designed to support power-down control for static RAM with battery backup. The delay time can be programmed by an external capacitor, offering flexibility in system design.
