The TL783CKC is an adjustable three-terminal high-voltage regulator designed for applications where standard bipolar regulators are insufficient. It features a wide output voltage range from 1.25 V to 125 V and a DMOS output transistor capable of sourcing over 700 mA.
This regulator provides excellent performance with typical input voltage regulation of 0.001%/V and output voltage regulation of 0.15%. It also boasts a typical ripple rejection of 76 dB. The device includes full short-circuit, safe-operating-area (SOA), and thermal-shutdown protection, ensuring reliable operation even if the adjustment pin is disconnected.
Designed for high-voltage applications, the TL783CKC combines bipolar circuitry with high-voltage double-diffused MOS transistors. It operates reliably at up to 125 V from input to output, without secondary breakdown or thermal runaway characteristics. The device is characterized for operation over a virtual junction temperature range of 0°C to 125°C.
The TL783CKC is housed in a standard TO-220AB package, suitable for through-hole mounting. Programming the output voltage requires only two external resistors. An output capacitor is recommended to improve transient response and provide protection from instantaneous output short circuits.
The output voltage can be adjusted from 1.25 V to 125 V.
The TL783CKC can source up to 700 mA of output current.
