The TJA1443ATK/0Z from NXP Semiconductors is a high-speed CAN transceiver that interfaces between a CAN protocol controller and the physical two-wire CAN bus. It is compliant with ISO 11898-2:2016 and SAE J2284 standards, enabling reliable communication in CAN FD fast phase at data rates up to 5 Mbit/s.
This transceiver features a VIO input for interfacing with 3.3 V to 5 V microcontrollers and offers low electromagnetic emission and high electromagnetic immunity. It is qualified according to AEC-Q100 Grade 1 and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 150°C (TJ).
The TJA1443ATK/0Z is available in a 14-HVSON (3.0 mm x 4.5 mm) package and a SO14 package. It supports predictable and fail-safe behavior, including undervoltage detection and defined behavior below undervoltage thresholds. The device also includes low-power management with very low-current Standby and Sleep modes, featuring host, local, and bus wake-up capabilities.
Additional features include overtemperature diagnosis, transmit data dominant time-out, and high ESD handling capability on bus pins (8 kV IEC and HBM). It is a dark green product, compliant with halogen-free and RoHS standards.
