The TJA1029TK/20/1J from NXP Semiconductors is a transceiver that serves as the interface between a LIN protocol controller and the physical LIN bus. It is primarily intended for automotive applications, supporting baud rates up to 20 kBd and compliant with LIN 2.x, SAE J2602, and ISO 17987-4:2016 standards.
Key features include very low ElectroMagnetic Emissions (EME), low current consumption in Sleep mode with remote LIN wake-up capability, and input levels compatible with 3.3 V and 5 V devices. It also offers an integrated termination resistor for LIN slave applications and passive behavior when unpowered.
