The TJA1028T/3V3/20/DZ from NXP Semiconductors is a LIN 2.0/2.1/SAE J2602 compliant transceiver featuring an integrated low-drop voltage regulator. This device facilitates the development of compact Local Interconnect Network (LIN) bus nodes. It offers robust ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD) performance with ±8 kV protection on LIN and VBAT pins, and is protected against automotive transients.
The transceiver supports a Sleep mode for minimal current consumption, with wake-up capability via the LIN bus. The integrated voltage regulator provides 3.3V or 5.0V at up to 70 mA with 2% accuracy and includes undervoltage detection. It is stable with various capacitor types and is short-circuit proof to ground.
Designed for demanding applications, the TJA1028T/3V3/20/DZ operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 150°C. It is supplied in an 8-SOIC package suitable for surface mounting. The device also boasts very low ElectroMagnetic Emission (EME) and high ElectroMagnetic Immunity (EMI).
