The TIP117G is a PNP Darlington transistor from On Semiconductor designed for high-gain switching and amplification applications. It offers a minimum collector-emitter sustaining voltage of 100 Vdc and a continuous collector current rating of 2 Amperes, with a peak current capability of 4 Amperes. The device features a high DC current gain of 2500 typical at 1 Ampere, which significantly reduces the base drive requirements.
