It also features ±16-kV HBM ESD protection, ±8-kV IEC 61000-4-2 contact discharge, ±8-kV IEC 61000-4-2 air gap discharge, and ±4-kV IEC 61000-4-4 fast transient burst protection.

 

The THVD1520DR operates across an extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. It provides large receiver hysteresis for enhanced noise rejection and low power consumption, with a quiescent current of less than 840 µA and a standby supply current of under 1 µA. The device is designed for glitch-free power-up/down, enabling hot-plugging capabilities, and includes open, short, and idle bus failsafe features. It supports up to 256 bus nodes, operating as 1/8 unit load.

 

Packaged in an 8-SOIC (0.154", 3.90mm Width) surface-mount package, the THVD1520DR meets or exceeds the requirements of the TIA/EIA-485A standard.
