The Brady B-428 label stock, part number THT-12-428-10, is constructed from metallized polyester with a permanent acrylic adhesive. This material offers a matte, light gray appearance and is designed for thermal transfer printing.
Ideal for applications requiring nameplate-like quality, such as rating and serial plates, this label stock is suitable for use with barcodes, alphanumerics, graphic symbols, and logos. It is designed to withstand various solvents and variable temperatures when applied to different surfaces.
The label has a total thickness of 0.122 mm (0.0047 inch), comprising a 0.097 mm (0.0037 inch) substrate and a 0.025 mm (0.0010 inch) adhesive layer. Adhesion to stainless steel is rated at 48 N/100 mm (44 oz/in) after both 20-minute and 24-hour dwells.
