Traco Power THN 15-2422N is an isolated DC/DC converter module from the THN 15N series. It delivers 15 watts of output power with dual regulated voltages of +12V and -12V, each capable of supplying up to 625 mA. The converter accepts a wide 2:1 input voltage range of 18 to 36 VDC (24 V nominal).

 

With a typical efficiency of 90%, the THN 15-2422N features a low no-load power consumption of 96 to 336 mW. It provides 1600 VDC input/output isolation and includes protection against overload (OCP), overvoltage (OVP), and short circuits (SCP), along with a remote on/off function. An internal EN 55032 Class A filter reduces conducted emissions.

 

The module is housed in a compact, shielded 1.0" x 1.0" x 0.4" metal 6-DIP package with through-hole mounting. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C with derating, or -40°C to +70°C without derating. The converter is certified to IEC/UL 62368-1 and is intended for commercial ITE applications, industrial electronics, instrumentation, and distributed power architectures.
