The THM 20-2423 is a 20-watt isolated DC/DC converter from Traco Power's THM 20 series. It accepts a wide 2:1 input voltage range of 18-36VDC (nominal 24VDC) and provides dual regulated outputs of +15V and -15V at 667mA each. The converter achieves up to 90% efficiency and features reinforced isolation rated at 5000VAC, with a low leakage current of less than 2.5µA. It includes comprehensive protection features such as overcurrent (OCP), overtemperature (OTP), overvoltage (OVP), and short-circuit (SCP) protection. Designed for medical equipment, it complies with IEC/EN/ES 60601-1 edition 3.2 for 2xMOPP and is manufactured under ISO 13485 quality management. The converter operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 80°C with derating. It is housed in a compact 5-DIP through-hole package measuring 40.6 x 25.4 x 10.2 mm. The THM 20-2423 is also suitable for demanding applications in transportation, control and measurement, and IGBT drivers.
