The Qorvo TGL2217-SM is a packaged, high-power, wideband GaAs VPIN limiter. It is designed to protect sensitive receive channel components from high-power incident signals. This device operates across a frequency range of 0.1–20.0 GHz, offering a low insertion loss of less than 0.9 dB.
With receive protection rated up to 10 W incident pulsed-power, the TGL2217-SM also features a low flat leakage of less than 18.5 dBm. It does not require DC bias, simplifying integration and minimizing impact on system performance. The limiter is fully matched to 50 ohms on both RF ports, making it suitable for commercial and defense applications.
The TGL2217-SM is housed in a compact 3.5 x 3.5 mm QFN package, facilitating simple board-level assembly. It is lead-free and RoHS compliant.
