The POWER TFS7706H belongs to the HiperTFS-2 Family, designed as a combined two-switch forward and flyback power supply controller with integrated high-voltage MOSFETs. This single IC solution simplifies designs by incorporating control, gate drivers, and three power MOSFETs, reducing component count and enabling smaller form factors with higher power density.

Key electrical specifications include a selectable main switching frequency of 132 kHz, which aids in lower cost and smaller magnetics. The device supports main duty cycle operation above 50% for reduced RMS currents and lower output diode voltage ratings. It offers up to 586 W peak output power and achieves greater than 90% efficiency at full load. Protection features are integrated, including UV, OV, OTP, OVP, standby OPC, SCP, and ILIMIT, along with transformer reset control to prevent saturation under all conditions.
