The Texas Instruments TFP401AMPZPEP is an enhanced product DVI receiver designed for high-speed digital connections. It supports pixel rates up to 165 MHz, enabling resolutions like 1080p and WUXGA at 60Hz. This device is compliant with the Digital Visual Interface (DVI) Specification Rev. 1.0.

Key features include true-color, 24-bit per pixel processing for 16.7 million colors, laser-trimmed internal termination resistors for impedance matching, and skew tolerance up to one pixel clock cycle. It offers reduced power consumption with 1.8 V core operation and 3.3 V I/Os and supplies, along with reduced ground bounce using time-staggered pixel outputs. The TFP401A incorporates circuitry to create a stable HSYNC from DVI transmitters that may introduce jitter.

Designed for demanding applications, the TFP401A-EP supports defense, aerospace, and medical applications. It features a controlled baseline with one assembly/test site and one fabrication site. The device is available in a military temperature range of -55°C to 125°C, with extended product life cycle and product-change notification.
