The Samtec TFM-125-01-F-D-RA is a 50-position, 2-row, 1.27mm pitch right-angle through-hole header from the Tiger Eye series. Its shrouded 4-wall design enables blind mating and provides robust mechanical protection. The connector is configured for board-to-board or cable-to-board applications.
Electrically, it is rated for up to 3.7A per contact (max) and 250VAC/354VDC. The contact system uses 0.018" diameter phosphor bronze posts with Gold Flash on the mating area and Tin on the tail. The insulator is black Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) with a flammability rating of UL94 V-0. Operating temperature ranges from -55°C to 125°C.
The TFM series meets or exceeds MIL-DTL-55302 testing and is SET Qualified for severe environment applications. It is an Extended Life Product (E.L.P.) and an Automotive A-Series variant is available for automotive use. Data transmission can reach up to 8 Gbps.
Typical applications include high-reliability board-to-board interconnects, cable assemblies mating with Tiger Eye sockets, and rugged environments requiring MIL-SPEC compliance. The connector is packaged in tubes of 16 pieces.
