The Samtec TFC-115-02-L-D-A is a 30-position, 2-row, 1.27mm pitch surface mount header from the TFC series of Tiger Eye rugged systems. It features a shrouded 4-wall design with push-pull fastening and includes an alignment pin for secure board placement. The insulator is molded from black Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating.
The contacts are made of phosphor bronze with a 10 µ" gold plating on the mating area and matte tin on the termination tails. The contact length is 3.33mm and the insulation height is 5.74mm. This connector is rated for 3.1A per contact and 350 VAC, with an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C.
This header is suitable for board-to-board or cable applications and is designed for surface mount soldering. The part number suffix -L indicates the gold plating option, and -A indicates the inclusion of an alignment pin feature.
