The Traco Power TES 3-4810WI is a high-performance 3W isolated DC/DC converter module from the TES 3WI series. It provides a single regulated 3.3V output at 750mA, delivering 2.5W of power. With an ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage range of 18 to 75V DC (nominal 48V), this converter is suitable for applications with varying input sources. The device features 1500VDC I/O isolation, protecting sensitive loads from input transients.
The converter maintains high efficiency of up to 76% typical, enabling operation over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +70°C at full load. It includes built-in EMI filtering compliant with EN 55032 Class A conducted emissions, reducing the need for external components. Additional features include short circuit protection, remote on/off control, and under voltage lockout.
The module is housed in a compact 24-SMD package with 12 leads, measuring 32.2mm x 14.8mm x 10.2mm. It is surface mountable and qualified for lead-free reflow soldering per IPC/JEDEC J-STD-020E. The device is available in tape and reel packaging for automated assembly.
