The Traco Power TES 2N-2423 is a high-performance 2W isolated DC/DC converter module from the TES 2N series. It provides dual regulated outputs of +15V and -15V, each capable of delivering up to 65mA. The module accepts a wide 2:1 input voltage range of 18V to 36V (nominal 24V) and offers 1500VDC input-to-output isolation.
With a typical efficiency of 80%, the converter operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with derating. It includes built-in short-circuit protection and an EMI input filter that meets EN55022 Class A requirements. The surface-mount package (16-SMD Module, 6 leads) measures just 24.0mm x 13.7mm x 9.3mm, making it suitable for space-constrained applications.
Typical applications include battery-operated equipment, instrumentation, and industrial control systems. The module is qualified for lead-free reflow soldering per IPC J-STD-020D.1 and is available in tape and reel packaging.
