The Traco Power TES 2N-2422 is a 2-watt isolated DC/DC converter module in the TES 2N series. It accepts a nominal 24V input (18-36V range) and provides dual regulated outputs of +12V and -12V at 85mA each. The module features 1500VDC input-to-output isolation.
With a typical efficiency of 78% at full load, the converter supports an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with derating. Built-in short-circuit protection and an EMI input filter compliant with EN55022 Class A are included.
The converter is housed in a low-profile 16-SMD module (6 leads) measuring 24.0x13.7x9.3mm, suitable for surface-mount assembly and reflow soldering per IPC/J-STD-020D.1. Output voltage accuracy is ±2%.
