The Traco Power TES 2N-1212 is a 2-watt isolated DC/DC converter module from the TES 2N series. It provides a regulated 12V output at up to 165mA from a 9 to 18V DC input. The converter features 1500 VDC input-to-output isolation and an efficiency of 80% typical. It includes short-circuit protection (SCP) and is designed for commercial ITE applications. The module is qualified for lead-free reflow soldering per IPC J-STD-020D.1 and is available in tape and reel packaging. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C with derating. The surface-mount package measures 24.0mm x 13.7mm x 9.3mm and has a 16-SMD, 6-lead configuration. Typical applications include battery-operated equipment and instrumentation.
