The TEQ 160-4816WIR from Traco Power is a 160 Watt DC/DC converter module housed in a rugged, sealed metal case. It is designed for industrial, ITE, and railway applications, offering excellent thermal convection and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +75°C without derating.
This converter features an ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage range of 19-75 VDC, nominal 48 VDC, and provides a regulated 28 VDC output at a maximum current of 5.5A, delivering 154W of power. It boasts up to 90% efficiency and includes an internal input filter that meets EN 55022 Class A standards.
The TEQ 160-4816WIR is suitable for chassis mounting, making it ideal for applications where PCB mounting is not feasible. It also includes features such as output voltage trimming, remote On/Off control, and under-voltage lockout. The I/O insulation is rated at 1591 VAC.
