The Traco Power TEN 8-4812 is a high-performance 8-watt isolated DC/DC converter module from the TEN 8 series. It accepts a wide 2:1 input voltage range of 36 to 75 VDC (48 VDC nominal) and provides a regulated 12 VDC output at up to 666 mA. With a typical efficiency of 86%, the converter supports an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with derating.
Standard features include remote on/off control, overcurrent protection (OCP), and short circuit protection (SCP). The module is housed in a shielded metal DIP-24 package with an insulated baseplate and industry-standard footprint, measuring 32.0mm x 20.3mm x 10.2mm. It is designed for through-hole mounting.
