The Traco Power TEN 3-4812 is a 3-watt isolated DC/DC converter from the TEN 3 series. It accepts a wide 2:1 input voltage range of 36 to 75 VDC (nominal 48 VDC) and provides a regulated 12 VDC output at up to 250 mA. Typical efficiency is 84% at nominal input and full load.
This converter features 1500 VDC input-to-output isolation, short circuit protection, and an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C (with derating). It includes internal input filtering to meet EN 55022 Class A and FCC Level A without external components.
The TEN 3-4812 is housed in a 24-pin DIP module with industry-standard pinout and through-hole mounting. Dimensions are 31.8 mm x 20.3 mm x 10.2 mm. It is designed for industrial and commercial ITE applications.
