The Texas Instruments TDP158RSBR is an AC-coupled HDMI signal to transition-minimized differential signal (TMDS) Redriver. It supports digital video interface (DVI) 1.0 and high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) 1.4b and 2.0b output signals, handling up to 6 Gbps data rates.

 

This redriver features a programmable receiver equalizer up to 15.5dB and supports DisplayPort dual-mode standard version 1.1. It is capable of supporting 4k 2k 60p resolution and up to WUXGA 16-bit color depth or 1080p with higher refresh rates. The device operates within a temperature range of 0 to 85°C.

 

Packaged in a 40-WQFN (5x5) format, the TDP158RSBR is designed for surface mounting. It offers low power consumption, with 200mW active at 6Gbps and 8mW in shutdown state. Control can be managed via I2C or pin strap configurations, including global or independent high-speed lane control, pre-emphasis, transmit swing, and slew rate control.
