The TDA9886TS/V5,118 is an alignment-free, multistandard vision and sound IF signal Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) demodulator designed for positive and negative modulation, including sound AM and FM processing. It operates with a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V and features a gain-controlled wideband Vision Intermediate Frequency (VIF) amplifier.
This IC supports true synchronous demodulation with active carrier regeneration for NTSC, PAL, and SECAM standards. It includes a fully integrated VIF Voltage-Controlled Oscillator (VCO) and a precise, fully digital Automatic Frequency Control (AFC) detector with a 4-bit digital-to-analog converter. The control interface is I²C-bus, allowing for digital acquisition help and adjustable TakeOver Point (TOP).
