Key features include thermal and short-circuit protection on all card contacts, enhanced card-side ESD protection (> 8 kV), and a supply supervisor for power on/off spikes. It offers three protected half-duplex bidirectional buffered I/O lines and an external clock input up to 26 MHz, with card clock generation up to 20 MHz.
