The device offers extensive control capabilities, including programmable input gain, loudness with selectable frequency boost, and a wide volume range from +15dB to -79dB with 1dB step resolution. Users can independently adjust bass, middle, and treble frequencies and levels. The bass control features a second-order frequency response with programmable center frequencies (60 Hz / 80 Hz / 100 Hz / 200 Hz) and Q factors. Middle frequencies can be adjusted with programmable center frequencies (500 Hz / 1 kHz / 1.5 kHz / 2.5 kHz) and Q factors. Treble frequencies can be set with programmable center frequencies (10 kHz / 12.5 kHz / 15 kHz / 17.5 kHz).

 

Additional features include four independent soft-step speaker controls and a single-ended mono subwoofer output with independent level control. The TDA7418TR also incorporates direct mute and digitally controlled SoftMute functions with programmable mute times. It is supplied in a SO20 package and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
