TDA7056A

The TDA7056A from Philips is a mono BTL (Bridge-Tied Load) output amplifier designed for audio applications. It features integrated DC volume control, eliminating the need for external coupling capacitors and maintaining a low offset voltage. This amplifier is suitable for use in televisions, monitors, and battery-fed portable recorders and radios.

Key electrical specifications include a positive supply voltage range of 4.5V to 18V. It can deliver up to 3.5W of output power into a 16-ohm load at a 12V supply voltage. The voltage gain is typically 35.5 dB, with a gain control range of up to 80 dB. Total quiescent current is low, typically 6mA at 12V supply with no load.
