The TD-120-G-A is a double-row precision machined terminal strip from Samtec's TD series. It offers 40 positions arranged in two rows with a 2.54mm pitch, making it suitable for standard PCB layouts. The header uses through-hole solder termination and has an unshrouded design with a push-pull fastening mechanism.
The contacts are made of phosphor bronze with a gold finish of 20 microinches (0.51 µm) over 50 microinches of nickel, providing reliable conductivity and corrosion resistance. The insulator is black glass-filled polyester, rated UL94 V-0 for flammability, and the operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C. The overall contact length is 12.12mm, with a contact length of 3.96mm and a row spacing of 2.54mm.
This header is designed for board-to-board applications and mates with Samtec series SS, SD, HSS, SL, SDL, ESS, and ESD. It is RoHS compliant but not suitable for lead-free soldering; only lead wave soldering is supported. The lead style is A, with a 0.018-inch diameter pin and 0.156-inch Y dimension.
