The Samtec TCSD-05-01-N is a Tiger Eye IDC socket strip designed for 10 positions in 2 rows at a 2.00mm pitch. It accepts 28 AWG ribbon cable and terminates via IDC, making it ideal for high-density cable-to-board interconnections. The insulator is molded from black glass-filled polyester, and the contacts are beryllium copper with a 30 microinch gold plating over 50 microinch nickel.
Electrical specifications include a current rating of 2.8 A per pin when two pins are powered, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. The connector features a free hanging (in-line) mounting style with push-pull fastening and includes feed through and polarizing key features.
This socket strip mates with Samtec TMM, TMMH, STMM, MMT, TW, MTMM, EHT, ETMM (-SR), and ZSTMM series headers. The TCSD series assemblies are non-standard and non-returnable. For applications requiring a polarizing key, specify PK-01-07.
