TCN75AVOA

The Microchip TCN75AVOA is a digital temperature sensor designed for accurate temperature monitoring. It converts temperatures between -40°C and +125°C to a digital word with a typical accuracy of ±1°C and a maximum accuracy of ±2°C. The sensor supports user-selectable resolutions from 0.5°C down to 0.0625°C.

Operating within a voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V, the TCN75AVOA utilizes a 2-wire I²C compatible serial interface, allowing multiple devices on a single bus. It consumes a typical operating current of 200 µA and features a power-saving one-shot temperature measurement mode with a shutdown current of just 2 µA maximum.

This temperature sensor is housed in an 8-SOIC package, suitable for surface mount applications. Its features include programmable registers for flexibility, configurable shutdown and one-shot modes, and an alert output with hysteresis. The alert signal can be configured as an active-low or active-high comparator output or as a temperature event interrupt output.
