The Toshiba TC7WH157FU is an advanced, high-speed CMOS 2-channel multiplexer. Fabricated with silicon gate CMOS technology, it achieves high-speed operation comparable to Bipolar Schottky TTL while maintaining low CMOS power dissipation.

 

This device features a common select and strobe input. When the STROBE input is high, data selection is inhibited, and all outputs become low. The SELECT input determines which of the A or B inputs are routed to their respective Y outputs. An input protection circuit allows 0 to 7V to be applied to input pins without regard to the supply voltage, enabling interfacing between 5V and 3V systems.

 

Key electrical specifications include a typical propagation delay of 4.1 ns at 5V, a maximum supply current of 2 μA at 25°C, and a wide operating voltage range from 2V to 5.5V. It also offers high noise immunity and 5.5V tolerant inputs.
