TC78

The TC78 from Mallory Sonalert Products represents the next evolution in the ultra-rugged TC7X family of mobile computers. Designed for the new age of mobility, this device is lighter, thinner, and tougher than previous generations, while incorporating the latest class-leading technologies.

Key features include Wi-Fi 6E for faster wireless speeds and lower latency, and 5G cellular connectivity (on the TC78 model) for "wired-like" speeds. It is equipped with an ultra-high resolution 16 MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization and an 8MP front camera. The device boasts multiple memory configurations up to 8 GB RAM and 128 GB UFS Flash, expandable via a 2 TB MicroSD card slot.

For data capture, the TC78 offers the SE55 1D/2D Advanced Range scan engine with IntelliFocus™ technology, capable of capturing barcodes from hand-held distance up to 12.2 meters (40 ft.). It also includes an SE4770 scan engine for standard scanning ranges. The ultra-bright 6-inch Full HD+ display is protected by Corning® Gorilla® Glass, as is the imager window. The device is built to withstand harsh environments, with an industry-best drop specification of 10 ft./3.05 m to concrete without a rugged boot required.

The TC78 is powered by a next-generation Qualcomm 6490 octa-core processor, delivering 90% more processing power and a 400% faster graphics processor. It supports various battery options, including standard, extended, BLE, and wireless charging batteries. Additional features include a Time of Flight depth sensor for mobile parcel dimensioning and eConnex™ for snap-and-go pairing with accessories.
