The TC7662AMJA is a charge pump voltage converter from Microchip Technology. It converts a +3V to +18V input to a corresponding -3V to -18V output using only two low-cost capacitors, eliminating inductors. It can source output currents up to 40mA. The on-board oscillator operates at 12kHz nominal frequency. It is available in an 8-pin CERDIP package with an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. This device is pin-compatible with the industry standard TC7660 and offers improved output current and wider input voltage range. Typical applications include laptop computers, disk drives, process instrumentation, and microprocessor-based controllers.
