The TC74HC139A is a high-speed CMOS 2-to-4 LINE DECODER/DEMULTIPLEXER fabricated with silicon gate C2MOS technology. It achieves high-speed operation similar to equivalent LSTTL while maintaining CMOS low power dissipation.
The active low enable input can be used for gating or as a data input for demultiplexing applications. When the enable input is held high, all four outputs are fixed at a high logic level independent of the other inputs. All inputs are equipped with protection circuits against static discharge or transient excess voltage.
Key electrical characteristics include a propagation delay of 16 ns (typ.) at VCC = 5 V and a low power dissipation with ICC = 4 µA (max) at Ta = 25°C. The device operates over a wide voltage range of 2 V to 6 V and is pin and function compatible with the 74LS139.
