The TC72-3.3MUA from Microchip Technology is a digital temperature sensor designed for accurate temperature monitoring. It features an SPI-compatible serial interface, eliminating the need for external components for communication with host controllers.
This sensor provides a 10-bit resolution, offering a precision of 0.25°C per bit. It boasts a maximum accuracy of ±2°C across the -40°C to +85°C range, and ±3°C from -55°C to +125°C. The operating voltage range is from 2.65V to 5.5V.
Available in a space-saving 8-pin MSOP package, the TC72-3.3MUA is suitable for surface mount applications. It supports both continuous temperature conversion and a power-saving one-shot measurement mode, with typical current consumption of 250 µA in continuous mode and a maximum of 1 µA in shutdown mode.
